This two-hour in-person workshop explores cross-domain incident scenarios and decision-making at the intersection of physical and cyber/digital security. We will highlight common coordination challenges and opportunities, synthesizing learnings into practical, actionable considerations to inform integrated incident response approaches and future cross-domain scenario-based testing.

Objective and Goals

This workshop moves beyond theoretical IT and physical problems to address a fundamental duty of care issue. We explore how physical and cyber security teams coordinate during cross-domain incidents where traditional handoffs break down.

By the end of this session, participants will:
Surface diverging points: Identify specific instances where language, assumptions, and authority differ between physical and cyber domains

Map friction points: Pinpoint where coordination handoffs may break down during an incident.

Identify Critical Scenarios: Determine which cross-domain scenarios warrant deeper stress-testing
